We're home. ;D The next chapter of this book should be up in about a week. There will be a map included with this chapter, and the map is not quite finished. Some modifications are still needed.

At last, after almost a month, "The Circles" has been updated. This chapter is mostly Elfhild's, with a little advice from me and a map.

Nice chapter, and great map!  The girls are moving erratically, first north, then west, now south-east... The best idea would be to follow the stream up, I guess. |

Agan, they have been forced to make a number of changes in their plans. The sisters wanted to go west all along, but sightings of enemies prevented them and forced them to follow the Anduin north. They decided to chance the road which ran from the river to the hamlet and then to the village and start traveling west on that road towards the Great West Road. However, they had to take a detour to the south to get to the stream for a drink.
Such is kismet.
But what forces influence their destiny? Good, evil, or both?

They actually are rather bright girls - though a bit naive. After all, they have no education and have led very sheltered lives, just like any other peasant girl. Whether or not the concept of "dumb blondes" exist in Middle-earth is up to postulation... Perhaps the Gondorians thought that the Rohirrim were less intelligent because their civilzation was less advanced.  en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dumb_blonde |

I wonder if they would have been different if they had been brunettes. I don't think coloring their hair would help them. *grins*
