Hi After trying for years I finally landed a contract with a small publisher. You can see it here: tinyurl.com/mt89zzxMaking this sale has got me back to reworking Ariashal's story. I was going to let it go, but my editor wants anything I can give her. So it can be done!

Congratulations on your contract!
How will you rework the Cursed Queen? You would have to get rid of the Tolkien references for sure.

We've had our own worlds for some time. I moved them over there. There are gods there, which changes many events. The King is still invisible; his curse is that no one can see him, know his name or ever speak of loving him. Herumor is there, of course; with a spelling change to Heremor. There are a few others, too, a total of 5 in all.
If 50 Shades of Grey hadn't been published with its origins so freely announced, I wouldn't have tried it. maybe I can get my publisher to do the same.

Your revised "Cursed Queen" sounds very interesting. Because Tolkien never really wrote about the Nazgul, you probably wouldn't have to do much modification to move the story into your own world. The author of "Fifty Shades of Grey" probably had to do a LOT of editing, as she had to transform Mr. Grey from a vampire to a mortal man, and turn the heroine into an original character. Since you wouldn't be changing genres, it would probably be easier for you. Good luck!

If you want a preview, after November 30 I'll be back to work & will desperately need a beta who isn't Mr Khazar.

I'm not sure how good a beta I would be, but I would love to look at it.

Great!
Ariashal is little stronger, based on a suggestion from a retired editor who read the original. Not Xena the warrior princess, just a few minor touches.
