OK... Maybe Alcanazar can show me how to make this work. He understands these &*(#*$^% machines better than I do. I merely think of them as tools, not a means unto themselves.

Did you know that Angus McBride passed away earlier this year in May? He was such a good artist....

Thanks Agan! Those the are the ones I couldn't get to link.
About 07--he's way too big for that fell beast. It looks like either a weird costume or really strange sex story come to life.
I just don't think they were *quite that close* to their beasties!

It looks like he is about to fall off the fell beast.
Eowyn also looks like Shirley Temple.
Of all the Angus McBride pictures out there, this one is my least favorite.

The comments on the second one are from the...challenged.
They seem to believe the old IC modules' Nazgul names are correct. Murazor sounds like a banana republic dictator.

Khazar, someone is always getting confused about those old MERP names. I know there are several introductory books that give the company's versions of Middle-earth history, but I am not certain which one has the biographies of the Nazgul. A little note on the old MERP games - they are becoming collector's items. The price of used game books very widely, ranging anywhere from $20 to almost $200. Elfhild and I just like to read them. Here is a site that gives the MERP bios of the Nine. It is clearly stated on the site that this information was taken from ICE's MERP and not from the writings of J. R. R. Tolkien. You know how people are, always getting things confused. www.rockjakten.com/nazgul_html/index.html

Wow! Misinformation AND bad art! Whatta site!!!
I got Alcanazar a copy of MERP's "Empire of the Witch-king" for Christmas a couple of years ago. $50 and the &*#)$*% mailman crammed it into the mailbox.

Khazar, yes, the art is terrible on the Nazgul ICE bios site. I had to wonder about what the artist really had in mind with his bird-like people. Also the woman has a strange metal mask with no eye holes over her face. And people think these bios are the real Tolkien canon.
I have had good luck with receiving my games. Everything has come through in perfect condition. Never played one of the games, though. I just buy them for interest.
