By all means, post the link on NK. Thank you, I will do that. I think Vorondariel will be quite happy... Yes, sounds quite unpleasant and it is also too short for a proper Adunaic name. I have read a good story where the main character (an officer from Barad-Dur) was called Dolguzakhar - that sounds more "authentic", if unpleasant. Anyway, why the WK, the mid-Second Age noble Numenorean would have not a Quenian, but an Adunaic name in the first place? Even Sauron calls himself by a Quenia name Tar-Mairon, so why change WK's into Adunaic? Pretty stange.

Dolgu sounds like "Delgo", the animated fiasco that disappeared after becoming the biggest box-office bomb ever.

It is commonly known that three of the Wraiths were Numenorean. Perhaps the author thought that Adunaic was spoken by all of the Numenoreans during the whole history of the country. That is true, but for a long time, it was the language of the common people, and the elite spoke Quenya. It was only until after all things elven began to fall out of favor that Adunaic was spoken by the ruling classes. So just because someone was Numenorean, did not mean they spoke Aduniac by default. They would definitely know the language, but it was not in vogue for the elite to speak it until the latter days of the island. It's an easy mistake to make. Thanks for the recommendation, Agan. Welcome back! We've missed you!

We're glad you're back, and just in time for Hobbit Day, September 22.
If all goes well, we've got something special planned for the big day. *nervously looks at calendar*

Nothing so exciting, I fear. You'll have to wait until October 6 for that. It's the official Stab-a-Hobbit day. ;D

Looking for some DragonAge ff led me to fanfic.net, as evil a hive of scum and villany as ever existed on the web. And I found this: www.fanfiction.net/s/2874772/1/AbjuredI don't recall seeing it in the list. If it's there, apologies. I may upload Gentlemen's Agreement. FF is usually filled to the brim with squeeing fangirls, but I think they can use some other Nazgul goodies. DragonAge has a couple of characters who Sauron wouldn't want. Use, sure, but not let close.

Khazar, good luck on posting on FF.net. The people there aren't always the nicest folk in the world. There's just no pleasing some people, and those types seem to hang out there. It would be a better place if they actually moderated the comments people can post, but with all the stories that are archived there, that would be a very big job.
