A ray of hope! (Maybe.) I did some more research on Byet Host, and found this thread in their forum. byet.net/showthread.php?p=30993Apparently, the 30 days inactivity rule applies to 30 days without hits. That was something I wasn't sure about on the other sites with similar rules, whether the inactivity clause referred to logging in/uploading files, or days without hits. Though Byet's rule applies specifically to unique hits, I think The Circles would generate enough hits to swing by when we aren't actively updating.

The problems I have been encountering in my search for a good host......... * Many hosts have an inactivity limit of 30 to 90 days. Whether this refers to no hits or no updates is unclear. On some sites' Terms of Service, it seems to mean a 30 day period of no updates. * Lots of sites restrict the amount of memory allocated to files. Some have a rule that files have to be under 300k, others 500k, some 1mb. Under 1mb is fine for us, but the smaller file size restrictions may affect the size of artwork in future chapters. * Many sites have pop up ads. * Many sites have lots of down time. We want a reliable host... * Some sites have adware lurking in their ads! * Some sites require users to do things in order to keep the service, such as posting on forums or signing up with sponsors. * A few hosts have really strict rules about content. One place even prohibited pages about guns, knives, drinking and gambling! Adult content I can understand, but what about pages about antique weapons? Obviously, companies with such rules are not for us... One battle scene alone would get us banned, not to mention Udu's drinking binges. And all the other stuff that goes on... ;D * Many hosts just seem flaky, like they may disappear in the next few days. ........For instance, on Saturday I signed up for an account with one company, and I never got the registration message which was supposed to arrive in the next five minutes. I'm still waiting. * Others have names that would be difficult to remember, like asdf546.co.yu or h76no1.com

The new site is about 98% done. The grand opening should be soon.
By the way, I never did hear back from that one company I signed up with around the first of June...
