A kiss from a Nazgul's lips was automatic Black Breath, whether the one being kissed puckered up or not. So that was what the Nazgul was doing to Merry in Bree.... ;D

One of the people in that chatroom also claimed that Sauron was a sexist. Where in the books did that person read that? There are no implications in the books that Sauron thought less of women than he did of men. As a maia, his view of gender would be different than that of elf or man, as the valar and maiar chose the sex that better suited their personality. So he might view gender as a personality trait rather than a physical distinction. Perhaps this person's concept of a sexist Sauron came from the fact that Melkor wanted Arien to be his queen, and Tolkien never wrote if Sauron craved such a romantic partnership. Personally, I don't think Sauron would care who was in his ranks or who supported him, so there would be plenty of room for fighting she-orcs, amazon warriors, and powerful queens, just as there would be for male orcs, Easterling and Haradric warriors, and kings of faraway countries.
Oh, and speaking of Frodo... He never wanted to use the One Ring to rule the world. Oh, no! His native good overruled any such despicable urges (*cough cough, read the discarded manuscripts in HOME that tell all about Frodo's dream of becoming Emperor*). I guess he just liked the Ring because it made him feel euphoric. Um... yeah. If that was the case, then the One Ring would be about as evil as any illegal drug - only harmful to the one taking it and those around him, and hardly something worthy of worldwide concern (Unless, of course, the managers of a nuclear plant all decided to get stoned one night...).

And this is why I think that there could easily be a female Nazgul. Let's face it--would you want to be between, say, Hillary and a ring? Hell, you wouldn't want to be between me & a ring, and I know what they do. Sauron also knew sex could be used as a powerful weapon to control men. I can't imagine a more insipid, useless, limp-wristed Emperor than Frodo. He makes Celeborn look tough.
